Americana Under the Stars, Santa Rosa Beach at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

Enjoy an evening of live entertainment, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park hosts a musical event on Thursdays in Santa Rosa Beach Florida - Americana Under the Stars, a new weekly concert series will showcase singer/songwriters from across the country.

An open mic showcase for local musicians will perform 5 – 6:30 p.m. (performers must be present to sign up). At 7 p.m., the featured band performamce will begin.

Enter through the main park entrance off of 30-A and park in the day use parking area, from there it is a short hike down to the amphitheater. Bring friends and family for an enjoyable evening...food or beverages are permitted.

2013 The Color Run 5k, Orange Beach Alabama at The Wharf

The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.  While The Color Run event is all about fun and positive energy, the 5k also focuses on promoting healthy living. 2013 Orange Beach Billfish Classic, Alabama Gulf Coast at The Wharf

The tournament will be hosted by The Wharf Entertainment Complex located at 4673 Wharf Parkway in Orange Beach. The format will feature tournament registration and captain's meeting Wednesday, fishing Thursday through Saturday and weigh in Friday and Saturday afternoons. The event wraps up with an awards brunch on Sunday. This year, a change in tournament rules will allow blue marlin to be weighed in. The minimum size for a tournament-legal blue marlin is now 103 inches. This is in addition to the all-release division for billfish and the weigh in for dolphin, tuna and wahoo. 

The OBBC has continued to serve as a very important fundraiser for marine conservation projects, contributing to The Billfish Foundation and the Coastal Conservation Association.
